PJF return to winning ways

On a blustery day PJF took on a Law Society side that featured the former PJF centre Miles Murphy. From the out set PJF powered forward against a Law Society side who were late at the ground due to heavy traffic. The scrummage saw PJF dominant giving them a great platform to play off. PJFs fist try cameafter about 10 minutes with Phil Jones being driven over the line. Three minutes later Charlie Crow broke free and ran in under the posts to give PJF a 14 point early lead. Law Society's heads didn't drop and they had a purple patch in and around the PJF 22m. PJF gave away a number of silly penalties with Finlay Hawse ending up taking a yellow card for the team for persistent team offences. From the following passage of play Law Society forced themselves over the line out wide on the left. The kick was missed. PJF then switched back on and went back up the field and scored. The subsequent kick was missed. Just before half time, with Finlay Hawes restored to the side, Finlay took the ball over the line touching just to the left of the post and with the extras added PJF turned around 33-5 to the good.

In the second half PJF brought on debutant James in the centre and early in the second half he was unlucky not to score having been ajudged to have been held up. But it wasn't long before Chase Thomson added to the growing PJF tally. A couple of minutes later a further try was added. With Jon Osbourne, Callum Law and Dan Wilkinson adding further tries PJF ran out 59-5 winners against a Law Society side that never gave up despite being reduced to 13 men through a mounting taly of injuries.
