!0 tries underline PJFs's dominance in the game against O Whits
PJF were looking for a response after last weeks disappointment. On a sunny afternoon at the Pightle PJF prduced a solid perfomance that resulted in 10 tries being scored, five of which were converted. Although Whitgiftians battled valiantly during the afternoon, scoring two tries of their own in the process, it was PJF that drove home their superiority. During the second half the referee started to issue yellow cards. At one point PJF were reduced to 12 men, but despite the loss of players PJF defended their line well and continued to pose an attacking threat. During the flurry of yellow cards Dominic Hughes was given a red card for having received two yellow cards. The second was given for a appeal to the referee that the referee interpreted as dessent. This was the only downside from a much better performance. The happiest man on the field was Shane van der Schiff who reinvented himself a wing prop, when he 'sprinted' 20m to score in the corner. The final score was 60-14 to PJF who picked up all 5 points for the win. Nextweek PJF travel to Old Blues who are undefeated this year.
