The club continues to battle through the crisis

CV-19 has created a great deal of disruption to everyone. PJF has not avoided the crisis but we continue to fight on as befits a club that has a history of battling against adversity. Training this year has seen an encouraging turn out form younger members with coach Rhodri laying on some enjoyable training routines whilst complying with RFU guidance that has been set down because of CV-19. However the main purpose of this news item is to inform members of two up and coming events. The fist will be held this Sunday morning when the minis will be holding their awards day to celebrate a fantastic first season albeit a curtailed season. The season was very successful because of the enormous enthusiasm displayed by the youngsters who turned out every week in ever growing numbers. This is a great testament to Brendan Hession and his coaching teams dedicated work that ensured that the minis provided an inclusive experience that could be enjoyed by all.
On Saturday, September 5th we will be holding a rugby force event that will be a mixture of work and fun for everyone who turns up. The work involves repairing the car park, pitch surround and holes around the pitches created by our local wild life over the Summer. The fun, touch rugby, a few, socially distanced bears and a BBQ. Put the date in the diary and come and help your club and have some fun while doing it. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, September 5th at 10.00am.
