A lovely day at the Pightle was made fantastic by the return of a version of rugby. Seven teams of ten competed in a tournament of Ready 4 Rugby. It gave members and guests an opportunity to get out and enjoy some sport in the open air which allowed for distancing while players waited between games. The bar was open with arrangements in place to allow for 2m distancing in doors and a one way system allowing people to enjoy a drink in safety. The competition saw some good rugby played with many players enjoying the experience. PJF will look to repeat the event in a few weeks time and will be looking to invite some other local clubs to send sides to improve the competition. Ready for rugby day 2 saw the minis start their season. Split into three groups the youngsters were put through their paces at the Schools ground in Plough Lane. New members always welcome. We are currently running three age groups, U8s, U7s and U6. The junior section meet every Sunday at 10.00am all youngsters in these age groups welcome.
