From the resulting kick, OWs were able to exert some pressurer themselves. After giving up a couple of penalties in their 22m, PJF let OWs in under the posts. It was a bit of a soft try, but they all count . The extra points were added. PJF returned to the offensive and piled on the pressure. After a nice interchange between the PJF wingers Josh Annop touched down to get PJJF back into the game. Unfortunately the extras were missed. The half ended with PJF trailing 7-5.
In the second half PJF had the advantage of the slope. Again PJF set off at a pace. A couple of minutes into the second half PJF got their noses in front when the forwards drove over for a try. This time the conversion was successful. Could PJF settle inot the game and capitalise on their dominance? No, its not the PJF way. Three minutes later OWs intercvepted a pass and ran the length of the pitch to score under the posts. OWs took the extra points to nudge them into the lead. Again PJF had to respond and respond they did and five minutes later PJF were back in front with an unconverted try. The score was now 14 - 17. However, OWs worked their way back up the pitch and gained a kickable penalty in front of the PJF posts. The scores were levelled. PJF were back where they started inspite of having most of the game. But PJF continued to dominate the game and eventually gained their just desserts when the forwards combined to create and opening and PJF got over the line to take a 17-22 lead. The remainder of the game was a tense affair with PJF's ability to make costly errors always threatening to derail all the good work that had been done during the game. A late yelllow card did not help PJF's cause. But eventually the final whistle went with PJF gaining a narrow win despite PJF outscoring OWs by 4 tries to 2.

On Sunday, the U12s took on Guildford in the Waterfall cup. The game being the decider in group stages of the competition. Guildford then extended their lead with another try. PJF, battling against the wind and the slope knew they had to stay in touch if they were to capitalise on the slope in the second half. Stay intouch they did by scoring another try to go into half time 3 - 4 down.
In the second half, playing with the elements, PJF levelled the score. But Guildford responded by nudging back into the lead.
