This Saturday at the Pightle marks the start of the Pitch Up for Rugby weekend at PJF RFC. On the Saturday we welcome all adult players interested in playing Rugby for a fun competitive day based around the RFU's Ready4Rugby game. Come along and join in the fun. There will be a bar and barbecue during the afternoon. Friends and family are welcome. If you want to introduce some friends to the joy of rugby this will be a great introduction. All players welcome.
If you are new to the area and looking for a club or are curious about rugby, just Pitch Up and enjoy yourself. The ground is situated in the Coulsdon Road in Old Coulsdon. The full address is Parson's Pightle, Coulsdon Road, Old Coulsdon CR5 1EE. A regular 466 bus service stops outside the ground on its journey between Addington and Caterham on the Hill via Croydon. On Sunday the juniors Pitch Up for Rugby at the John Fisher School Ground in Plough Lane Purley at 10.00am. Young people aged under 9 will be coming together in a socially responsible way to play fun rugby based games. All children under the age of 9 welcome along with parents. You will be assured a warm welcome.
If you are new ask for Brendan, John, Jon or Matt and they will get your youngster introduced to his age group. (There are 3, the Under 8s, Under 7s and Under 6s)
