Fabulous day for the PJF minis and juniors
The minis attended the Chipstead festival today. All the youngsters in all age groups did the club proud. The U7s attending their first festival really enjoying themselves and performing with excitement and flare, the U8s playing with great enthusiasm and showing great potential, the U9s, taking on tackling for the first time, showed committment and great promise, the U10s really stepping up and performing to their full potential, the U11s invincible and being complimented by all the opposition coaches as a side full of fantastic talent. A massive thank you to all the youngsters who turned out at the Chipstead festival, you were all fantastic. Also a big shout out to all the coaches who work with such great enthusiasm to help the youngsters play to their full potential. You are all doing a tremendously well. I would also like to thank all the parents who turn out to support the youngsters with such enthusiasm. I was also told by the mums of the U12s that they would like ot take part in their own tag tournament. What a fantastic idea! The young people, coaches and parents all come together to form a formidible team. A true example of where teamwork makes the dream work, so a massive thank you for everything that you all do. Attached are some pics from the festival. Apologies for any team member not featured, I will try to correct that going forward.
I would also like to congratulate the U12s who attended a Surrey Values Festival at O Reigatians. They absolutely smashed it. They have learnt many of the lessons from the early season match against Cobham and came away having scored 25 tries and conceding not a single score. The four clubs they played were London Welsh, Wimbledon, Trinity and Pulborough. A brilliant performance. Well done to the team and coaches.
