It was a great day when club members past and present came together for lunch and to watch a bit of rugby afterwards. A big thank you to those who made the day such a success, Doug Flowers, Bryan Whicher, Luke O'Shea, Graham Brooks and all those that showed up to help set up. Big thank you to Julian Norton for providing the lunch, the young waitressing so well and Siobhan who managed to keep the drinks flowing throughout. The lunch was followed by two splendid games of rugby with PJF's 1st XV easing past Blues in an uncompromising encounter and the Marlins learning form the way England play rugby by running up 27 un answered points in the first half before conceding 43 in the second. despite the disappointment of the 2nd team result everyone agreed that they had had a good time, which is what matters most. Next week the first team are down at Frant Road to take on an improving Streatham and Croydon side. The lads would welcome your support.
