We will be holding a Christmas lunch on Saturday, December 14th at 12.30. The lunch will precede the league fixture against top of the table Walcountians. So the fare both on and off the pitch is set to be fantastic. The cost of lunch will be £20.00 including wine and as the first lunch of the season we are looking to make it something very special so please come along and partners are welcome as well. Other lunches on the cards, we are planning a lunch before the Whitgiftians game on Saturday, February 1st and a lunch before the return Kingston fixture on the leap year date of Saturday, February 29th.

Other news from the Pightle. We have started a Minis section running out of the John Fisher School Fields in Purley every Sunday at 10.00. We currently have around 26 children from U7 downwards turning out and tomorrow we will be taking the U7s down to Farnham to play in their festival. The first team have not really had the rub of the green losing out on four occasions by very narrow margins so although they are currently third rom bottom they do have a positive points balance. the problem has been that the side is currently conceding too many penalties. Hopefully today will see the clubs fortunes turn around as they take on Law Society in New Malden.
