...and a hope full and prosperous New Year

This year has not been great. The Club is still waiting to play some meaningful rugby. Just when there was a chink of light that suggested that a competitive form of rugby might start in January we all find ourselves plunged into tier 4 which means that no organised sport over 18 can be played. Training is again restricted to non contact drills. The light at the end of the tunnel is the vaccines, so we are all hoping that the newly identified variants are suseptible to the existing vaccines. Meanwhile the club funds are very tight and we are looking to ways to boost te coffers as we have no bar income. But on a much more optimistic note, we are still getting good numbers at training. Some nights in excess of 30. The minis are going from strength to strength with numbers up to almost 50 and more interest being shown all the time on the sections facebook page. So if we can get back to the sport we all love we will hopefully be able to prosper. So things are not, by any means, all doom and gloom. So all that remains for me to say is a very happy, allbeit small Christmas, and let us all look forward to to moving out of this crisis in 2021 and having a really great new year.
