Facility Hire for Private Functions

Our facilities and function room at Purley John Fisher Rugby Club can have everything you’ll need to make your event that special occasion, the perfect party or corporate venue for the Croydon, Coulsdon, Purley, Caterham and surrounding areas.

Our function room is equipped with a fully stocked and licensed bar that can cater for all special drinks requests to suit your visitors and guests, and is available for hire for all celebrations ranging from christenings and wedding Receptions to 18th and 21st Birthday Celebrations. We can cater for a sit down function for up to 80 persons or parties of up to 150.

Our function hall comes complete with dining tables capable of seating 8 and 10 people. All furniture including tables, chairs and table dressings are included in the function costs. If you require a particular table layout this can be accommodated, and all furniture can be laid out to your requirements prior to your arrival on the day.

We can also accommodate up to 50 cars and large coaches in our car park. This can make life easier if you have guests travelling from outside the local area.

If your event involves outdoor activities, our club house and grounds are perfect for your needs. Set in the beautiful Surrey countryside adjacent to Farthing Downs, our grounds extend to 8 acres of playing pitches surrounded by mature trees and shrubs. Our grounds are available throughout the year, and are constantly well maintained.
