PJRFC were slow off the blocks, hindered by 2 very early injuries rendering them a man short, made worse by poor tackling, though both forwards and backs made amends through coming back to score 4 tries to earn a bonus point. Tom white, Pete, Paddy, Del Tony all made forays into the opposition 22, making good use of support play. Dynamo Damian came alive with the damsels on the touch line, scoring 2 tries in the second half. Streatham and Croydon also produced some excellent rugby with a strong outside centre wing combination. PJRFC did well to put the brakes on after the first 20 minutes to hold their nerve and bring the game back and played with much courage and commitment throughout. There was a sense of a growing team spirit and working together in the changing room after. The new scrum half Tom, cajoled the forwards and backs well to produce several phases of play. Marlins courageous and consistent performance keeps them at the top of the table.
