PJFs magnificent 11

The final game against Paulines again saw PJF up against it with their one sub vs Paulines 7!
Again PJF came out of the blocks fast and Will at scrum half bagged a brace and Piotr was held up over the line. Paulines grabbed one back and added the extra point. PJF finished the first half with a slender 10-7 lead. The start of the second half saw Josh add a fifth try to his afternoons tally. Paulines get back with a converted try. PJF 15 - Paulines 14. The man of the afternoon then pops up with another try and Josh had had surely the most productive debut of any player in the club's recent history. Paulines responded immediately to take the score to PJF 21 - Paulines 19. By this time the endless supply of Paulines subs was taking it toll and it was a question of whether PJF could hang on for a famous victory. Unfortunately with the clock ticking down Paulines grabbed a winning final try, the final result PJF 21, Paulines 24.
The Marlins should all feel tremendously proud of their display, with a bigger squad PJF would have gone on to achieve even more. But everyone enjoyed the afternoon and as a first run out for the season it promises much.
