Performance of the year blows away Streatham and Croydon

PJF waited for the final competitive game of the year to turn in the performance of the year. Free flowing rugby. Rampant forward play in the loose and fluid inventive back play saw PJF run in six tries to chalk up 38 points. S&C managed a brace late on in the second half. The first half saw PJF produce their best rugby for a very long time. Jon Osborne at fly half received quick ball from Jack Kennedy at scrum half and used it intelligently allowing the backs the time and space they have struggled for during the previous games of the season. In defence JPF closed down the opposition quickly and denied them the room they needed to develop any sort of momentum. There were still mistakes but there was a determination in the side to overcome problems and play the rugby we all know they can. A first half played at pace by PJF saw them 21-3 up at half time having swept all before them. The second half started well with a score early on. Then PJF sat back a little which allowed S&C to come back at them, which they did, grabbing a brace of tries before PJF re-established their dominance. PJF now have to learn how to maintain the attitude and determination to reproduce the rugby they played at Frant Road in every game. PJF now go into a Christmas break with their next game against Kingston on January 13th.
