At the moment it is difficult to see where the relief is going to come from, however the players did feel that this weeks 24-3 loss to their hosts from the coast, Brighton, saw them play better than the previous weeks.
Saturday's was another disappointing performance by the PJF XV that saw them again fail to at least secure a bonus point. Some comfort was taken from strong set piece play. Both line out and scrum went well for the visitors but it was the continuity and decision making in open play that found them woefully wanting. There were occasions when PJF encamped on the oppo's 10 metre line only to be rebuked time and again and find themselves quickly on the back foot.
