PJF and Midwhitgiftians blow off Chistmas cobwebs with Fiday night run out

Midwhitgiftians claim local bragging rights
A close game between two in form sides. The purpose of the game was to blow off the Christmas blues and to get game time for as many of the squad players and young players at college as possible. The night proved to be a success. Midwhitgiftians being the more accurate on the night with PJF trying to play the more expansive game. At the end of the first half PJF led 12-14. But after making a number of changes at half time some of the cohesion of the first half was dissipated and Midwhitgiftians capitalised on the changes to claim the second half 21-5. The game was competitive but played in good spirits. This weekend PJF return to competitive league rugby against a Kingston side looking to avenge a narrow home defeat to PJF.
We need you support on Saturday some come along and support the lads, and we look forward to seeing you at the Pightle.
