22 young people take their first rugby steps at the Pightle

PJF took its first tentative steps in junior rugby today, June 2nd when 22 young people came to the Pightle to enjoy a morning with the rugby ball. The club would like to thank Ed Swainson and Brendan Hession for helping to make the day successful. We would also like to thank George Maxwell form the RFU for the contribution of balls and gifts and Bryan for setting up the ground for the morning and Luke for just being there. The children thoroughly enjoyed the games and this represents PJF's first steps on the road to starting a junior section in September. We will be looking to repeat the day towards the end of August with a goal of attracting more 9-10 year olds. If you are interested and couldn't make today, please register your interest by e mailing me by clicking the link and you will be added to our mailing list. More pictures of the day are available in the photos section of this site. In the mean time Rugby Camp is coming to the Pightle in July, sign up today.
