PJF end the competitive year on a high

The best is saved until the last!

A great performance in beating Streatham and Croydon 38-13 saw PJF go into a Christmas break on a high overcoming the disappointment of the previous week. PJF had travelled to Millbrook in the 3rd round of the Junior Vase and only just lost out to a side riding high in Hampshire 1. The 25 -22 scoreline was disappointing in that PJF had the potential throughout the game to win it. So it was great to see that the side took another step up against Streatham and Croydon to put in a performance that came close to reflecting the talent of the players on the pitch. Supporters had waited a long time to see PJF turn in a performance that was free flowing and exciting to watch. It was by far PJF's best performance of the whole year. The challenge is to build on this and carry the determination and endeavour into the new year. The players have the ability they now have to reproduce and build upon the level of play achieved at Frant Road. We all look forward to seeing the momentum being carried forward into the game against Kingston on January 13th and beyond...
