PJF 1st Team and Marlins both win

PJF travelled to Windsor Avenue to take on Economicals whose lowly league position belies the stubbornness of their opposition. Seaghan Davey starting his first full game at fly half kicked magnificently and distributed well. Seaghan also showed that he wasn't a retiring flower often choosing the option to run at the opposition when the options were limited. The forwards fronted up and took on Economicals who had the reputation of posing problems to every pack in the league. Well taken tries by Declan Williams and Chase Thompson started PJF off on the road to a well earned 22 - 10 win. With two wins on the trot the side has done a lot to overcome the poor result against Kingston. The next game is a home game against Paulines at the Pightle on February 17th.

Meanwhile the Marlins turned a difficult week around and ran out 34 -10 winners against Merton to maintain their challenge at the top on the Surrey Combination 1 league. So a big well done to the Marlins.
