First team beat local rivals Streatham and Croydon after hard fought first half

A great weekend at the Pightle. After a good lunch club members enjoyed a hard fought game of rugby. The league game against Streatham and Croydon saw a hard fought first half that saw Streatham on top and at half time the score saw the visitors 5-7 in front. The second half saw a change in fortunes and PJF's endeavours turned the game on its head with PJF running out eventual winners 37-7.

The Marlins travelled to O. Cats and came up against a younger and more spritely side. Despite a spirited performance the Marlins errors lead to one of their rare defeats of the season. The Marlins final game of the season is away to Sutton and Epsom , and they will be looking for a strong end to the season.

The first team's final league game of the season is at home at the Pightle and is against Cranleigh who were this seasons first league opponents back in September. The first game saw Cranleigh win 42-39 with the final kick of the game. The return fixture promises to be a really close and exciting game. The match will be preceded by the Past Players lunch. Thank you to all those who have already booked their places. Any past players who would like to attend, please contact Niel Kenny by Wednesday evening. Thank you for your help in this matter. We look forward to welcoming you to the Pightle on Saturday, April 14th.
