PJF first team sign off with a win

After a lunch enjoyed by 30 past players and wives and two guests from Cranleigh we were all entertained by what was probably PJF's best performance of the season. With the sun shining but the pitch soft after the weeks rain PJF opened up and played champagne rugby. Breaking quickly form deep and running hard straight lines PJF caused all sorts of problems to a Cranleigh side that had had a very good season but weren't allowed to get into their stride. With the communication down the defensive line the best its been all season PJF forced Cranleigh into a series of errors which were punished on the counter attack by PJF who outscored the visitors by seven tries to one. Pierce Fernando converting all seven tries. The Marlins, meanwhile, visited Sutton and Epsom and came away with a convincing 55 - 31 point win. The Marlins now go into the league playoffs and will be playing O Cats or Warlingham in the semi-finals of the league competition. Once the fixture details have been confirmed we will post the details of the fixture. Well done to the Marlins for another excellent season.
