A wonderful lunch was cooked up by Julian Norton for over sixty passed players and guests from Old Wimbledonians. The day was dedicated to the past players who have sadly left us over the past year. Lunch was followed up by two games where the Marlins continued their winning streak over old rivals Warlingham. A great deal of the Marlins success is down to the inspired leadership of the side's captain, Julian Emmanuel. A great clubman who has lead the Marlins throughout the season to top of the side's division of the Surrey leagues. Big respect Jules!
The first team, taking on O Wimbledonians in the league, produced a performance that did the players justice. Having had a frustrating hit and miss season the side ended their home games with a definite hit. With one game remaining in the league, the side takes on O Emanuel at Blagdens next week.
