Accomplished 7s performance carries all before them

A dominant performance from a side made up of Sports staff members at the John Fisher School and past students won the Carnival 7s at Streatham and Croydon; captained by newly elected Club captain Iain Greenwood. Scoring 150 points in their 4 games at the expense of 28 points conceded, the side stormed through sides from Bognor, Streatham and Croydon and Sutton and Epsom before coming up against a guest side the Wolves who had been equally impressive in their passage to the final. The final saw the side deny the Wolves any good possession. Forcing mistakes at every turn the Fisher lads turned over the Wolves possession scoring at every opportunity. It was only in the dying minutes when the game was lost that the Wolves got a scoring opportunity to pick up a conciliatory 7 points. A brilliant display of 7s won the tournament with the side looking to the Surrey 7s in July. More news to be posted soon.
