| Purley John Fisher RFC Ethos |
|
Our objective at Purley John Fisher RFC is to build an enjoyable sport, social and community experience for the benefit of all – players, members, and sponsors – based upon a successful, vibrant and diversified rugby club. In order to realise this ambition; we need to promote rugby as a whole: across all ages, from youth players to veteran players; both genders and all social, ethnic and economic groups. We also need to effectively embrace the true practice of community rugby by encouraging all potential young players from the local area and schools to enjoy rugby with us.
The club is actively involved in local schools and colleges in an attempt to promote the game of rugby at Academy level.
We also believe that we should entertain and encourage other sports – such as hockey, lacrosse and netball – played in the local area, and are actively seeking to build partnerships with ladies and junior teams that need the permanent home ground which we, as Purley John Fisher, can offer.
You will have the satisfaction in the knowledge that your efforts as an active member, and your generous donation as a sponsor, will help us to achieve our goals, as well as being part of a local vibrant club that considers the future of grass roots community rugby and sport in general . | | |
